Western US Dealers with TRD Pro allocations currently available @ MSRP

Thanks for sharing! I called one of my local dealers on the list (had it on their site as in transit) but are marking it up 5K. I already have one held at another dealer with no mark-up, so I'm sticking with my original $500 refundable hold. I was watching a YouTube video the other night where they were saying that the '24 (and possibly previous years) have all been selling for a significant number over MSRP and that in this individual's opinion, Toyota got smart and decided to jack the MSRP up instead of giving it to the dealers. Don't know how much truth there is in that but sounds logical. Would be curious if anyone knows that past years 4Runners typically would be sold over MSRP.

TRD Pro $72k plus tax is $77000. Add additional $5k plus tax is $83.5k. Sorry, not worth it in my opinion. To be upside down on a vehicle the minute you sign, is financial stupidity.

Any truck is going to be "plus tax" (unless you live in a no tax state) so that is irrelevant, but I like to think markups are on their way out. And 5k is pretty small, many dealers in the So Cal area are trying to sell TRD Pro 4Runners 77-79k, without tax. Ridiculous.

As a heads up, spoke with the dealer in Phoenix, AZ on the Underground Pro 10 minutes ago. He's already got a deposit on it and claims its sold. Let them know if that changes to give me a call and will update.

I have decided to start including trucks that are priced with markups. I don't personally support dealers with markups, but the reality is that some people have more money than time, and if you need a truck, and can't wait, paying more might be an option for you.

I personally took a 6-hour train ride and then had a 7-hour drive home (with apologies to Supertramp, I took the long way home) and paid MSRP at a small dealership in Oregon. Deals are out there, but you need to be quick, and you need to be flexible.
