OEM Badge Inserts - what are they exactly?

About to pull the trigger on a Mudbath TRD Pro. I was wondering what exactly the “badges” stated below are? I assume the Heritage grill one is just an overlay for the TOYOTA on the front grill but I’m not sure about the other one.

There is a “reflective black” and a “matte black”. Here are the part numbers for my “TOYOTA” and “TRD PRO” on the back.

my front has the the matte black as well on the “TOYOTA”

yeah i would look into tvd vinyls for insert than oem just by cost.

i have used them since our 2016 tacoma, 2018 tundra, 2023 tundra and not once has any installs (per tvd's instructions) has ever peeled during our summers or our brutal winter temps (-20F or colder)
