1995, 2005, and 2007 Toyota Landcruisers
Have owned 6 Toyota Landcruisers in my time and have loved the dependability and utility of the trucks. Last one I bought new was in 2007, as they started to get too expensive and full of gadgets. Over time have thinned the herd to a single 80 series and 2 100 series. Was excited when they first released the 250, but the first impressions have been mixed. I built a home down in South Carolina for retirement in a few years and was struck by the announcement about the rebirth of Scout. Coming from an offroad background, was not impressed with the EV options and not kicked in the head about EV in general with all the time involved in charging while on the road.

Scout Traveler with range extender seems like a great solution and nice to be able to look forward to a US built truck. my godfather had one that we used for bird hunting when I was a kid. I remember a very rough ride, but the ability to go anywhere. Hoping that the launch goes smoothly and I can get it to augment the fleet of aging Landcruisers I intend to keep forever.

Greetings from Central Texas. Growing up I always wanted a Scout but could never afford one. I’ve always loved pickups and have owned several. Currently I drive a company car and in a couple of years when I retire, I’ll buy a Terra and explore our great country.
