Mine is working fine, but it can be finicky. I’ll most likely just 3d print the 2024 Tacoma mag safe charging plates. They’re also available on Etsy.

Is there a way to hide the wire?
Most of it will be hidden as you can see in the Etsy listing. It would require more work to hide it entirely. I have one of these on the way to test. Will report back later.

If you dig around on the Tacoma forums, they’ve looked into pulling power from the Toyota wireless charging connector, but no one has done it yet or made an adapter that I’m aware of.

It's mainly my wife's car, and I don't think she'd go for a seperate mount. More looking to mod the existing location for magsafe. I like that, though. Also not sure how it would work with the 14" screen.
my wife loves it, they include a riser for the 14" screen
