All-weather floor mats and a cargo liner (especially with a wet, muddy dog!)

There’s not a huge selection for 6th gens yet, and better options will pop up over the next 6–12 months once the aftermarket catches up.

Tires is always the answer.
Agree, I am getting my SR5 soon and planning tires being the first upgrade. Thinking of 285/70/17 and using stock rims. Makes it look so much better

There are not many mods out there for 6th gen yet, I would wait six months until the supply chain gets full. Even WeatherTech does not have mats yet.
You can order LasFit if your looking for mats mine should arrive within the week

I see that pet owners are installing Canvasback liners for the cargo area.

That looks pretty cool. I typically keep my dog in a kennel to try and contain the mess and chaos - we tried a similar liner in our last car, worked great except for all the mud and other spots on the roof/windows.

I have a 2006 GMC truck with a winch. It has come in handy quite a few times. Thankfully, I’ve never needed it to pull myself out of a hole/ditch! This would be really nice to have for your hunting excursions as sometimes you never know what you will run into!

I’ve seen older 4Runners with winches but haven’t seen many options for the 6th generation. Built into the bumper seems nice, but I’ve seen where you have to engage it by lifting the hood. I’m not sure I really like that idea, so if anyone can provide other suggestions and post pictures, I’d appreciate it.
