Can someone with the $1325 optional TRD 18" black wheel on an ORP confirm the tire size installed at port?

I'm trying to figure out whether the standard ORP wheel (which is 18x7.5, +55 offset) with its 265/70R18 tires is the same tire size as when you get an ORP with the $1325 optional TRD 18 wheels (which are 18x8, +45 offset if I'm not mistaken).

Or in other words, if you buy an ORP with the factory tire size of 265/70R18 and factory 18x7.5 wheel with +55 offset, can you later buy the $1325 optional TRD 18 wheel (which I think is part number PTR56-35242-F1 and center cap part number PT998-34221-2F (which replaces PT280-34221-2F)) and just swap the tires from the original build onto the new TRD 18" black wheels?

At the port when they install the optional $1325 wheels, I don't imagine they swap tires (assuming you can) and instead they have pre-built wheel and tires that they just swap out. But it's also possible the same tire won't fit?

I have no idea, but I imagine the factory wheels with their tires go right back on the boat back to the factory to be put on another build.

My dealer priced these wheels to me at $200 each. Aren’t they the same as the Taco wheels?

Yes. That is exactly what I did with my ORP. I paid to swap the Nitto tires from the original ORP 18" inch machine finished alloy wheels (18x7.5" +55mm offset) (265/7OR18 tires) onto the TRD 18-in black wheels before driving it off the lot.

How much did they charge you to swap and did you get to keep your original rims?

The TMPS sensors in the standard factory wheels may or may not be directly swappable into the optional Toyota black TRD wheel, or the TRD Pro wheel that some people are finding online.

Assuming the TPMS sensors in the factory wheels on an ORP are, in theory, directly swappable into the optional Toyota black TRD wheel, is there a number of miles on the wheel where most tire shops will recommend you buy new TPMS sensors for the new wheels?

@jrenzag are you including the factory TPMS sensors in selling the original wheels? Do you think most potential buyers will expect that? I do wonder how hard it will be to sell the original OR wheels--maybe someone in snow country will want them for winter tires, but that might require shipping and that alone could kill the deal. I can't imagine anyone buying the standard wheel because they love the design--but maybe black paint or powdercoat of the silver outer portion of the rim would transform the look?

Also curious what, if anything, are people who replace wheels/tires doing with the spare?

I'm using the factory TPMS sensors so no. Why wouldn't potential buyers use their own factory TPMS sensors? Yeah, while I'm willing to sell them for a steal, I imagine there'll be minimal interest.
