Aftermarket Hood Insulation installed

Posting here in case you haven’t seen it buried in another thread. I’ve purchased and installed an aftermarket hood insulator because the SR5 doesn’t come with one and the OEM is ~$500!

I’d go ahead and order these rivets as they’re higher quality than what’s included with the insulator:

No news yet. So far I’m happy. I want to get a long interstate drive done and inspect after that. About 2 weeks away from that.

I spent 30 mins looking for one today. No luck. Seems like the Tacoma might be the same but I failed to find one. I will keep looking.

It was about $120. I haven’t noticed a difference but it seems pretty quiet already.
